Frequently Asked Questions
Recamov stands for Remote Career Move. We plan to facilitate helping you find a remote job (if you’re a job seeker) or finding top remote talent (if you’re an employer).
It’s simple - take a few seconds to register an account and post your job. The entire process takes only minutes. Then, sit back and watch those great candidates apply for the job.
Every job post submitted on our system is checked for issues. If everything is fine, we
post it on our job board within 48 hours, though in most cases we can post within 24 hours.
However, if we find something that requires your attention - like a broken link, omitted text, etc. - we will get in touch via email to help you rectify the issue before posting to our site. It’s not just the candidate who needs to put their best foot forward. We want to help you do so as well.
Once you find a job you like, click on the ‘Apply for this job’ button, and the website will redirect you to the recruiting company’s application page.
Here’s what you do - subscribe to our mailing list, and we will send you the newest jobs daily. We will also let you know of new resources on Recamov that might be relevant to your job search.
First off, all job posts are curated (see ‘I posted a job a few hours ago
but it still hasn’t shown up on the job board - why is that?’ above).
The Recamove team checks that the link to your application page is working as it
should and combs your post for any glaring grammar issues.
Second, keep in mind that there are other jobs, and the right person might not have seen your post yet. But don’t worry, we have years of marketing and business development experience, and we are committed to helping you find the right candidate. If you feel you have not gotten your star candidate in a reasonable period of time, talk to us so that we can work together to find the superstar your company deserves.
It’s important to keep two things in mind when you apply for a job.
First, most companies receive a large number of applications for each position. Most likely, they just haven’t gotten to your application or resume yet.
Second, hiring managers can only go off of what they see on your application and/or resume/CV. It’s important that you present your skills and experience the right way. We are building a library of resources to help you present yourself effectively to employers. Also, we are collecting interviews with different companies who discuss what they look for and how they assess applicants. Using Recamov job hunting tools can help you gain a competitive advantage over other candidates.
